Mark Epstein
Chief Financial Officer
Mark Epstein joined McArthurGlen in January 2010 as Chief Financial Officer and a member of the Board of Directors. Mr. Epstein is responsible for the financial operations of the Group, driving relationships with investors and lenders. In addition, he is actively involved with securing institutional and private financing for McArthurGlen projects.
Mr. Epstein has been involved in the real estate and investment business for the past 25 years, working in the areas of finance, acquisition, investment and development. He started his post- business school career as a partner with Mr. Kaempfer in the Kaempfer Company, where he was responsible for equity and debt financing of the company’s projects. He later served as a Senior Vice President for Vornado Realty Trust, one of the largest REITs in the United States, and where he was involved with the acquisition of two divisions of the company and with several of the firm’s major development projects. Immediately before joining McArthur Glen he was a co-founder and served as the Chief Financial Officer of private equity firm Tailwind Capital Partners.
Mr. Epstein received his BS degree in Engineering from Brown University in the US. He then worked for Price Waterhouse, becoming a Certified Public Accountant in 1982. Following that he attended Harvard University, from where he received his MBA.
